Rugs can be the secret weapon to your space; injecting colour, texture, personality and even transforming the look of a room entirely.  But what style of rug should go where? With so many factors to consider - fabric, thickness, size etc, it can be hard to whittle down your choices. To make your decision a little easier, here are a few pointers on which kind of rugs we think work best for each room.

The Office

Work is much more appealing when you enjoy the environment you're working in. Inspire creative thoughts in your home office with a geometric rug. A colourful, busy pattern will get your creative juices flowing as well as livening up your space.

The Hallway

Your hallway is the first place your guests will see, so go for a rug that packs a big visual punch. Brimming with patterns, the below rugs will guarantee a grand entrance and also feel good when you kick your shoes off. A dark coloured rug has the added bonus of being able to disguise unwelcome dirt. Just be sure to pick a size that's as wide as your doorway – the last thing you want is visitors tripping over when they walk in.

The Living Room

The living room is one of the most hard-working rooms in the home. It’s the place where we relax, catch up with the kids and entertain our guests - so go for a rug that accentuates the welcoming vibe it creates. As a high traffic area, it's also prone to attracting crumbs, pet hair and may suffer from the occasional drink spillage. It's therefore a wise idea to opt for a rug that's easy to clean and good at concealing dirt. Any of the below rugs would fit the bill. Crafted from stain-resistant fibres, they'll create a welcoming statement that's easy to maintain.

The Conservatory

As the closest room to the garden, a conservatory rug needs to be able to handle any moisture that gets left behind from wet shoes and pets' paws. The below rugs are ideal. Made from a fibre that is lighter than water, they are completely moisture-resistant and extremely difficult to stain. Also suitable for lightweight use outdoors, you could even use them as stylish picnic blankets for those fancy BBQs you've got coming up.

The below rugs will keep your feet happy as well as adding some character to your space.
